West of England Employment and Skills Plan

Buckman Associates Ltd supported the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) to develop an Employment and Skills Plan for the West of England LEP area.

This involved working closely with the WECA team to:

• Conduct a review of the evidence base
• Consult widely with unitary authorities and partners through one to one conversations and a series of workshops
• Develop a vision, priorities and strategic actions
• Ensure alignment with the Local Industrial Strategy
• Review and implement findings from the consultation process.

Since the publication of the strategy, we have provided further support to develop an implementation plan.
