Emma supported Torridge District Council to undertake an economic options study for the Middle Dock site in Appledore. She worked in an incredibly structured, dynamic fashion and was able to ask questions to organisations that opened real doors for the site. A number of the seeds that were sown during this original assessment led to direct discussions which evolved into the concept for the Appledore Maritime Innovation Centre and were critical to securing the initial funding.
